Introduction:

I am adding subnets to the DSM->Agent->Common Agent->Common->Location Awareness->Locations parameter, and after 100 entries I cannot add any more entries. I get an error message:

The maximum number of entries has been reached.

Environment:
CA Client Automation ? 12.8, 12.9
Instructions:

By default, the number of rows that can be added to the Location Awareness policy is configured to 100.

This can be increased using the following procedure:

  1. Edit DSM\bin\cfcafconfig.xml
  2. Increase the value of "max_line_count" to the desired number.

<paramsection name="Locations">

 <attribute name="helpid">2198167</attribute>

  <attribute name="dis_en">Locations</attribute>

   <attribute name="table">yes</attribute>

    <parameterinfo name="pi_Locations">

     <attribute name="column_count">6</attribute>

      <attribute name="max_line_count">100</attribute>

  1. Import the updated definition using:
    ccnfregdb -m<domainserver> -f<path>\cfcafconfig.xml

You should now be able to add more rows to the Locations parameter.

Note: This restriction has been removed from version 12.9 FP1
