Is it possible to identify if the response was sent from the live system or virtual service when the execution mode is live invocation?

All supported DevTest versions.

In the VSI response, Meta Data tab, look for the header 'Server'.

If this header is not set, DevTest will add it to the response during the VSM execution.

When the response is returned from VSI, the header will be:

Server: DevTest/Virtual-Environment-Server

When the response comes from the live system, the header will be from the service that sent the response:

Server: Apache-Coyote/1.1

This was a test performed against the DemoServer - delivered with DevTest.

If the VSI response have the 'Server' header already set, then the response from the service image will contain what is available in the VSI.

It is also possible to modify the response body in the service image and add something that identifies the response being returned is from the VSI.
