Access FSSUI : Applet not downloading.

When I try to access the FSSUI :  / login

the Applet is not downloading. 


I checked the browser configuration and the FSSUI Site is in the trusted sites. The browser uses JDK 1.7.


When I check the Network traces (http protocol) I can see:


2018.119381 HTTP 1066 GET /sitemindercgi/smadmcgi.exe?jar HTTP/1.1 

2078.229815 HTTP 870 HTTP/1.1 500 Internal Server Error  (text/html)


Checking the Apache error_log:


[error] [client] /opt/CA/siteminder/admin/smadmcgi.exe: error while loading shared libraries: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory, referer:

[error] [client] Premature end of script headers: smadmcgi.exe, referer:



There are missing paths to libraries in the Apache server configuration used for the FSSUI.


Add the following in the Apache httpd.conf:


SetEnv SM_ADM_UDP_PORT "44444"

SetEnv SM_ADM_TCP_PORT "44444"

SetEnv LD_LIBRARY_PATH /libr:/usr/lib:/opt/CA/siteminder/bin:/opt/CA/siteminder/lib:


Note : siteminder Policy Server is installed in /opt/CA/siteminder
