If an activity notification is marked as internal, the notifications associated with it are not sent to a Group email address. However the members of the Group are correctly notified.
To change this behaviour so that the Group email address is also notified, follow the steps below:
Run the following 2 commands at the command prompt on the Service Desk Manager server to add the @NX_ALLOW_INTERNAL_GROUP_NOTIFY=YES parameter to the NX.env and template files.
pdm_options_mgr -c -s ALLOW_INTERNAL_GROUP_NOTIFY -v YES -a pdm_option.inst
pdm_options_mgr -c -s ALLOW_INTERNAL_GROUP_NOTIFY -v YES -a pdm_option.inst –t
The CA Service Desk Manager services will need to be restarted for the change to become effective.
