Introduction:

How to prevent 'ETJDS090E The underlying data source does not appear to be functioning' message after disabling Time Series.

Question:

We want to discontinue running the Time Series tasks (local and relay) but this causes the following error in the UI:

Message1: ETJDS090E The underlying data source does not appear to be functioning
Message2: ETJDS091E An error occurred in a database: TEIID30328 Unable to evaluate
Version:
03.0.00 [Production (Build 3517.292); 2017/06/06 03:39; vm9444]

Is there a way to change the settings in JBOS so that it does not look for the Time Series interface?

Answer:

To prevent the error messages from popping up, you will have to disable tsf-model.xml and statg-model.xml.
