Introduction:

CA Client Automation has a consistency check for all Software packages. Sometimes this can cause issues when deploying a Software package.

Question:

How do I uncheck the checkbox for Checksum Control of Package Consistency for all Software packages ?

Environment:
Ca Client Automation - All Versions
Answer:

If you want to uncheck the box for All Software Packages, run the following SQL command:

use mdb

update usd_rsw

set flags = 0

where flags = 1

If you want to uncheck only one Software package, then you can use the following command:

use mdb

update usd_rsw

set flags = 0

where itemname like '%<Package Name>%'

You will then have to close the GUI

Caf Stop

Caf Start

Reopen the GUI and the box(es) should be unchecked
