Question:

How can I schedule Introscope to generate a report daily or monthly?

Environment:
All Current Supported APM versions
Answer:

Currently, Introscope does not have the capability for scheduling or e-mailing reports.

However, this can be done by using the Command Line Workstation (CLW) to generate a report. Then, create a cron job (if on UNIX) or a batch job (if on Windows) to run the report regularly.  Introscope supports XML and CSV formats for report output.

Here is an example of the CLW command.  You will have to create the script/batch job so that it can take in a variable for the starting and ending date and time.

generate report named \"Application Capacity Planning\" in management module named "Sample" starting at \"2017/7/16 12:00 AM\" ending at \"2017/7/16 11:59 PM\" to report.csv
