Windows Server 2016 not recognized

Issue:

Windows Server 2016 is not recognized and isn't listed as an Operating System in the DSM Explorer. It is also not available in the 'Run on OS' field in Procedures tab while creating a Software package.

Environment:
CA Client Automation Version - 14.0 SP1
Resolution:

Windows Server 2016 support was introduced in CA Client Automation version 14.0 SP1.

If the version installed is 14.0 SP1 and Win 2016 is not listed do the following:

 

1. On the Domain Manager, rename OSconfig.xml to OSConfig_old.xml.

   Default Location: ..\CA\DSM\Agent\

 

2. Copy 'OSConfig.xml' (file size - 91.4 KB) from a 14.0 SP1 agent to the Domain Manager.

   Default Location on the Agent: ..\CA\DSM\Agent\

   

3. Restart CAF using 'caf restart'.
