Issue:

In the Microsoft Project (MSP) New Driver, last saved date in the 'Set Baseline' section is missing.

Steps to Reproduce (using MSP Standalone)

1. In MSP, create a new task with a 1 day duration
2. Go to the Project tab, then from the 'Set Baseline' drop down select 'Set Baseline' and click 'OK’ to create a baseline
(Note the “(last saved on…)” appears next to Baseline to indicate a baseline was created)
3. Save the project as an xml, then open the xml in mpp
4. Go to the Project tab, then from the 'Set Baseline' drop down select 'Set Baseline' and view the value under the ‘Set baseline’ drop down

Expected Results: “last saved on …” appears next to ‘Baseline’
Actual Results: There is no “last saved on “ next to ‘Baseline’. So far all data appears to display, no data loss found.

Environment:
This issue applies to the MSP New Driver
Cause:

This issue is caused by Microsoft Project design.

Resolution:

This issue is working as currently designed by Microsoft Project with use of XML.

Workaround: Even though their is no Last Saved Date, you can verify the Baseline is set by adding a Baseline field to the MSP View (Example, add Baseline Start or Baseline Finish)
